Casting an Irish eye over events!

Well this weeks tips are coming from Ireland as I'm home for a few days. Perhaps the luck of the Irish will rub off on me as I try to pick the winners and long shot placed contenders. I'm still celebrating my success with 501 on Thursday and why not! Anyway for all tonight's top tips please click on read more....

Tingo - 11/1 - 8:24

The recent form of the 2 year old colt from the Clarky's stable suggests he'll put in a strong performance today. In 11 races to date he may have only won once - on the 2nd of March in Canada- but he's also been placed in 4 so his quality isn't in doubt. Last time out on muddy which he will face this evening Tingo finished just over half a length behind the winner in Dubai and will be hoping to go one better this evening.

Burberry Boy - 8:48 - 15/1

I don't know if this jockey will be wearing his burberry tonight but it would be a getminted first if he was. The Grade 2 two year old colt has impressed in his 14 races to date, winning in 4 and being placed in 4. Tonight in the 8:48 in Australia he'll run over yielding. The last time Burberry Boy went out on yielding he won in a strong field on this very track on the 14th of March. The odds seem excessively long for him tonight and I think a placed finish is very likely indeed.

Pink N' Preety - 9:36 -17/2

Can't say Im the world's biggest fan of the name but I'd gladly suffer it to have this 2 year old fillie in a stable if I was allowed to have one! In 10 races in her career so far shes won in 4 and been placed in 4 displaying a cutting edge ahead of her young years. Has won three of her last five races and while some of them weren't in the strongest of fields its still a very impressive feat. When last out on good going she won in Hong Kong over two weeks ago and should go close this evening at these long odds.

A cheery message from our newest owner!

It's nice when you get a message saying well done and it means alot to all of us at Getminted. That's why we were so pleased to hear from the new Cheerymate stable who contacted us today. Best of luck to you mate, you've won fans here already! Heres the message!

Afternoon getmintedracing.com

Last night upon watching the english destroy the italians i happened to switch over to your channel by complete accident but coudn't help myself to wonder what in the blue blazzis was going on? ok i'm no saint, i have seen virtual horse racing before and had a few flutters but this brilliant idea of someones to actually train and enter your own horses into racing against other keen horse fanatics was pure
genius in my eyes so after your show i quickly switched on the computer and
bought myself a young horse and now i just cant get enough and just want
to say what a brilliant job you boys have done...its nice to get things of
your chest and I'm looking forward to success on the tri-cast challenge!

More free credits - The Lucky Text Tip!

Since Getminted Racing first came to your TV screens we've given away literally thousands of pounds in free credits to our loyal owners. The most common source of winnings is via the Lucky Text Tip which is run nightly on Channel 850.

To win simply tell us who is going to win the 9:24 race, then the winning entrants's names are placed into a hat and a lucky winner chosen at random. Then you come on air with the Presenters, answer a very simple question and the £25 in credits are yours.

The text number on which to enter is as ever 078 35055066. Text the word HORSE followed by a gap, then your tip and stable name. The cost of the text is no more than your normal charge for texts (eg 10-12p) but entries are limited to one per person.

While we in the studio always specify the 9:24 race the racing programmers seem to ignore this so some nights there can be fields with as few as 8 horses increasing your chances of success.

Occasionally one of our producers will decide to run the 'unlucky' text tip where you have to tell us which horse you think will come last. It's a different kind of challenge but for those unlucky with succesful tipping it offers no excuse!

For those living outside of the UK, text your tips to 00 44 78 35055066. We look forward to hearing from all of you and best of luck winning those bonus credits!.

As Gunners celebrate we focus on another night of excellent racing ahead!

What a result by Arsenal last night, even they won't be able to blow this one. Perhaps they can be the Liverpool of 2006 and go all the way. Something that didn't go all the way last night was the tri-cast challenge, it stands at £150 tonight as a result. Well done to Stato who picked up £25 for his stable in the Lucky Text tip. Pughie's girl - 8:36 - 24/1

The fear for the 2 year old fillie is that she's exhausted after a very busy march. In yesterday's race in Dubai she finished in style to pick up her second win in 15 races. She also has 10 Placed finishes so is rarely outside the top three. Likes the fast and is used to this distance. At these odds a placed finish would suffice and the probability of it is high.

No Suprise - 8:48 - 16/1

This is a real risk, of that there is no doubt. Theres enough in No suprises history to make me worry that he'll end up last! But recently theres an added spring in his step after Andy at AML Racing entered the 4 year old in a number of claimers. Total stats read 37 runs, 8 wins and 7 placed finishes. Recent success in those claiming races mean the bookies believe he's improving with every race. Last time out in a competitive field he won on fast in Dubai a week ago. Has had mixed luck on firm going in the past. Perhaps it's wisest to opt for an each way for No Suprise.

501 - 9:36 -62/1
I was shocked to see these odds! 62/1 for a horse in fine form who hasn't raced since the 20th of March, a full 9 days ago. In 27 runs the 3 year old colt from the Lister stable has picked up 4 wins and 12 placed finishes. When last out on firm he finished second to The Wild Swan in a field of five. This could be the each way bet of the night, don't say I didn't warn you!!!!

Tipster Joy as Ockenfold romps home at 11/1

Well the purple patch continues. Ockenfold recorded a sensational win last night at great odds of 11/1. Hopefully you took my advice and backed this one. Tonight Mike Lawrence and I will be presenting so tune in for two hours of the best damn virtual racing around. Also remember we have no show on the 1st of April due to the change in seasons.
For all tonight's top Getminted Racing tips simply click on read more...

P - 8:12 - 46/1

No it's not a misprint the name of this 2 year old fillie from the boyle1972 stable is simply 'P'. In her 12 races to date P has been excellent winning in 3 and being placed in 7. Long odds here then for a horse who has won two of her last three races. She's never been out on good going before so you're taking a bit of a chance on her liking the ground but I think she'll handle it with ease. A placed finish at these very long odds would reap a nice reward.

Dream Express - 8:36 - 9/1

Tasty odds here for a fine horse. Dream Express from the Bryan1969 stable won when last out on soft going in the UK on St. Patrick's day. She's been much more consistent of late which augurs well for tonights race. In 33 starts shes won only 4 times and has picked up 12 placed finishes. Things are starting to go well for her recently and I think a placed finish is well within her grasp in the 8:36.

Laura's secret - 8:57 - 48/1

I've tipped this 2 year old fillie to do well tonight for two main reasons. Firstly shes starting to record consisent placed finishes finally which will be something Liveoak stables will be delighted to see. Secondly the quality shes up against tonight isn't that great. Added to this the fact that Laura's secret has had some of her best form on muddy and you can see shes good value at this price. 2 wins and 10 placed finishes from 18 runs means shes a good horse but not great, however shes good enough to do well in the 8:57. Could suprise and win but an each way punt is safer.

Gabe Turner- the legend will live on!

Yes I know alot of our owners have sent into kind messages wishing our James Bond/Phil Mitchell character Gabe Turner all the best as he's moving on to greener pastures. I wish to add my voice to theirs. Gabe is one hell of a guy, always in good form, always thinking of the owners and always on hand to brighten up shows. He's a dream to work with as any pre-prepared plans go out the window and you just have a great laugh presenting beside him. I hope Gabe can drop in to say hello from time to time and I wish him all the best in everything he does. As a Sunderland supporter though my heart goes out to him, perhaps Gabe will be signed up by the Black Cats before long!

For all tonight's top Getminted racing tips simply click on Read more - remember we've had two wins and six placed finishes over the last few nights, all at long odds! Don't miss the boat click on Read more NOW!

Dancing Shadow - 8:12 - 22/1

This horse has been a revelation for the ron and tam stable. In 6 races to date the 2 year old colt has registered two wins and three placed finishes. He's only been out on muddy twice before. Last time out on this going he came second in Canada over 2 miles and finished just a third of a length behind the eventual winner. He went one better on the 19th of March picking up his second win. At 22/1 the bookies are concerned that he might become a small fish in a big pond as he moves from juvenille level but at these odds its hard not to believe in him. A placed finish well possible.

Ockenfold - 8:57 - 11/1

This could be the horse to win you the tri-cast challenge at 8:57. In 15 races he's been placed 8 times, thats a 53% place to run ratio. Add to this 2 wins and you can see why alot of people believe Ockenfold offers great value at 11/1. He's never been out on good before but the 2 year old colt from the Maximas stable should be able to deal with the going. Consistent and solid he won't let the side down and if he doesn't win should finish in the places.

Sally Traffic - 9:24 - 11/2

I'm a big fan of this one out of the Bryan1969 stable. My fellow Liverpool fan trains his charges well and Sally Traffic has been steadily improving earning £534 for this fine stable to date. One win and three placed finishes in the last five races shows you that the 3 year old grey fillie is one to watch. Last time out on good she won in style on the 13th of March in Hong Kong destroying a full field of 14. Total stats read 61 runs, 14 wins and 29 placed finishes. I firmly believe Sally Traffic could run this race on the cold shoulder to pick up win number 15 but the more cautious of you might go for an each way punt.

Sensational results for Black Time and Nevasa

Well if you went for my tips last night you'll be celebrating all the way to the bank. Well done to Black Time who won at good odds of 11/1 and what about Nevasa finishing second at 12/1. Hopefully the week ahead will be as successful as the last one!

Two out of three ain't bad!

Yes back to winning ways for the blogspot last night when Frog Street finished second at 13/1 and One night in Paris did the same at 15/2. Hopefully we can earn you more money this evening. But before that theres the big one of course Liverpool v Everton so it's me, Red Halo Racing and Major Chase against Nolan and Boyle 1972! Should be a cracker but I'm afraid it'll be the red side of Liverpool who will be celebrating after!

Black Time - 8:24 - 11/1

Despite being entered in a few claiming races in the recent past the 2 year old Colt still has plenty to offer. In 12 competitive races he's won twice and been placed in three. Last time out on muddy he finished third in a claimer and while his favoured going is fast Black Time could get something at these attractive odds.

Nice dreams - 8:36 - 33/1

Could it be? 33/1, am I seeing it right! In three races to date the 2 year old fillie has won three over fast, muddy and yielding going. That last win on fast came in Canada on the 20th of March when Nice Dreams won in a small field of five. Still the confidence is high and she could get a placed finish in the 8:36 or better still make it four wins on the trot.

Nevasa - 9:24 - 12/1

What a wonderful run of form this Efisio trained colt is having. In 4 races he's won in three and been placed in one. The only worry for the stable is that the 2 year old has never run over fast. The USA where he will run tonight has been a happy hunting ground for Nevasa thus far with two of the three wins coming on this track. It won't be easy for him but this guy can get up there to claim some glory.

Tri-cast tears!

I was gutted last night when the Tri-cast challenge was not won despite a massive seven owners being left in with a chance coming into the last race. Third favourite Strip Gareth 2 came home first but amazingly no one went for it. That means the Tri-cast still stands at £300 for yet another night. This is one of the longest spells we've gone through without having a winner so hopefully that will be rectified tonight when the lovely Alexis and the Joker Dom call home our ten races on Sky Channel 850's Getminted Racing between 8 and 10 pm. For all tonight's racing tips please click on read more....

Frog Street - 8:12 - 13/1

Well in a race where none of the favourites have good recent form perhaps the Redcliffe trained contender will fancy his chances. Frog street, a 2 year old colt, has won in 5 and been placed in 6 of his 16 races to date and has a chance of improving one of those stats this evening at attractive odds.Interestingly though this is his first run on soft so hopefully he can adapt to the different conditions down under. The last win for Frog street came on the 18th of March when he came home first on fast in Canada. Fingers crossed he can do the same tonight but a top three finish is more likely.

One night in Paris - 8:36 - 15/2

A staggering run of good form to boast for this 2 year old fillie from the Uncovered Stable. Has been impressive on all types of going including muddy which she will face tonight in Canada. All horses are coming into this race at weights of 120 lbs so that won't be a worry for the owners, also she has had four days rest since her last race in Canda when she came second on the 19th. Three of her five career wins have come in the last five races so shes on fire at the moment and at 15/2 should challenge for honours tonight.

Fast Killer - 9:36 - 11/2

After a fine win last night by Dallas1 perhaps his horses have got over their recent poor spell. Fast Killer is improving with every race with two second place finishes and a win in his last three races. In 17 starts he's only won twice but has been placed in 11 races earning prizemoney of £34.71 for this the cream of Getminted Racing stables. Earned a place on soft back on the 5th of March in a field of 10 in Hong Kong over his favoued 6 furlong distance. Especially unlucky not to win on the 15th of March when he finished a third of a length behind Swamp Thing in Canada. Nice odds and if Fast Killer can get the win it'll start your weekend off with a bang!

A little too adventurous me thinks!

Well after four great nights on the trot I think last nights tips were a little too adventurous! Perhaps I underestimated the bookies a tad! Anyway lets hope for better luck this evening. Once again all eyes will turn to channel 850 at 8pm for two hours of high quality virtual racing. It's fun, it's fast and it's a great way of making some much needed cash. For all tonight's Getminted racing simply click on Read More...

Orb Electric - 8:48 - 10/1

Bought from the Orb stable on the 23rd of December last year this 4 year old colt has been doing well without setting the world alight. Won his last race on fast in the USA three days ago decimating a full field of 14. Total stats read 75 runs , 9 wins and 32 placed finishes. How important it would be for the Maximum147 stable if Orb Electric could make it into the double figures in terms of wins. Firm hasn't always been his favoured going but tonight Orb Electric could continue the winning ways however a placed finish is more likley.

Dream Well - 9:36 - 11/1

Make no mistake about it Dream well likes the firm going. In a career which has yielded ten wins two of them have come in races on firm though this 3 year old colt rarely runs on this going. Wins recently have been few and far between though the last came just two weeks ago when Dream well won on muddy in Dubai. 9 wins and 16 placed finishes from 39 races indicates he could run well tonight at nice odds of 11/1.

Perseus (USA) - 9:48 - 24/1

Whoops, my adventurous streak is back again! However when you look at the recent form of this Astec racing colt you have to admit he's hard to avoid with a wee flutter at these long odds.In 24 runs since being bought on the 30th of October last year by initial owners Negus the 3 year old has picked up 11 wins and 8 placed finishes. The auction fee paid for Perseus incidentally was £122 so the new owners expect good things from him. While yielding isn't his favoured going I think Perseus is certainly good enough to nick a place in this race.

The Tri-cast challenge - win up to £300 in credits for your stable

The 'Tri-cast' challenge is held every night on Getminted Racing. It's your chance to use your racing intelligence and tell us which horses are going to win three specific races. You can enter by text or by e-mail with up to £300 in credits to be won.

The races in question are the 8:36. 8:48 and 8:57. To be in with a chance of winning the credits tell us which horses will win in all three contests shown live on Channel 850's Getminted Racing.

Over the past six months we've given away thousands of pounds in credits so get in on the act by taking part. The excitement builds nightly as many owners are succesful in the first two races making that third encounter extra special. If you correctly choose all three winners and no other owner has obviously you win the credits. If more than one owner predicts all three then the winning names are put into a hat and one is drawn out at random.

To take part you can e-mail us the tips, not forgetting to put down your owner's name. The address is getmintedracing@cellcast.tv

You can also text in at standard network rates on 078 35055066. Make sure though that you text the word HORSE then leave a gap before you write your predictions and owners name.

So give it a go and you could be the proud owner of up to £300 in credits. With that you can buy new horses, enter races and buy all the extra enhancements available to get that extra yard from your horse. We'll be waiting to hear from you.

Alexandrova placed at long odds in another excellent night for the blogsite

Well done to Alexandrova from the Racingslim stable who finished in the places last night at 13/1. It means we've now had four night's in a row when the tips from this page have come up trumps. In other news the first thing I did when I woke up this morning was text my fellow Getminted presenter and Birmingham City fan Andrew Cheal to offer my sympathy after Liverpool thumped them 7-0! He had the blues! Anyway for tonight's top tips please just click on read more (Become part of the success!)....

Fighting Falcon - 8:12 - 18/1

Tasty odds here for the 2 year old colt from the Foxy911 stable. He's really started his career off with a bang winning 5 and being placed in 5 from 12 starts. The owners will be happy that theres no weight handicap in tonight's race and at 18/1 many will see this boy as a sure thing for a place. Fighting Falcon has only run on firm once before finishing third. Since then he's excelled winning on fast, good and yielding showing what a versatile contender he is.

Jamarj - 8:36 - 60/1

Well if this one came in It would be some coup for the blogsite. I can't believe the odds of 60/1 here considering he weighs 123lbs, a mid weight in this race. Also he's been doing well recently picking up four places in the last five. Worryingly for wig7 though Jamarj hasn't won since the 31st of December. Was unlucky not to win two days ago when he finished second in Canada. Back at the same track this evening and on fast going again Jamarj has a real chance of creating a suprise.

Cosmic Crews - 8:48 - 48/1

Again huge odds here for a colt in fine form. The bookies are very wary of his weight at 132 lbs. However as we've seen in the past it can be overcome with a strong start. Cosmic Crews from the Stable TSIN has raced 71 times in competitive races winning in 11 and being placed in 31. The stable have also entered him in a couple of claimers suggesting he'll soon be spreading his virtual wings and departing his stud. Before he does that though I think he will run much better than these odds suggest and he could do enough to get a third place.

Can a glint of gold be the real thing?

With another placed finish last night these tipping pages are going through somewhat of a purple patch! As are my beloved Liverpool who are up against Birmingham City tonight in the FA Cup! I know a lot of our owners come from the Midlands so hopefully we won't fall out when Liverpool dump you out of the cup!!!! I'm in trouble now! For all tonight's top getminted racing tips please click on read more...

Glint of Gold - 8:36 - 7/1

Second last time out on firm in Australia the 2 year old colt has failed to deliver as well as the gandalf29 stable would have liked. In 40 runs to date he's won only 3 times and been placed in 15 races. A return of £163 is disappointing but he's young and should start to deliver for the stable any day now. In relation to other conditions he's done well on fast in the past and will like this distance. A placed finish likely.

Nine Nine Nine - 8:57 -10/1

I've a good feeling about this one. Though he's been a bit inconsistent of late Nine Nine Nine has 17 wins and 51 placed finishes from his massive haul of 135 starts. Last time out on firm he finished second on the 17th of February in the UK. 7 furlongs is his favoured distance and with a 10 day rest since his last race this 6 year old colt should run well.

Alexandrova - 9:24 - 13/1

More great Getminted value here as the 2 year old fillie is quoted at 13/1. Won her last race on firm in Australia over the shorter distance of 1 mile and 6 furlongs. A solid performer she has won in 4 and been placed in 3 of her 10 races to date. A hot prospect for the future she's earned £386 from the 10 races so far and should add to that tonight with a placed finish highly probable.

Another good night for the tipster!

Well I think St. Patrick had a word with St. George before last nights racing as St.Georges doofer finished in second as predicted at massive odds of 18/1. It means for the second night running I've basically had tips coming in which would multiply your punt by 9! Not bad but can we continue the run of fortune tonight. Find out on Getminted Racing on Sky Channel 850. For all tonight's tips please click on read more....

Struggles Glory - 8:12 - 10/1

You should always consider a Diablo Racing horse at decent odds as he is one of the top stable owners in the Getminted family. This 2 year old colt seems to be the latest in a long line of champions to emerge from the stable. In his two races so far Struggles Glory has won once and finished second in the other. Both results came in full fields and on muddy going. The win came in the newcomer's last race in the USA when he won in style. In his maiden race he finished half a length behind El Rey Moro in Dubai and can consider himself unlucky not to have won in that race also.At nice odds of 10/1 I expect him to continue his good form tonight and nick a place.

Scorpion King - 8:36 - 22/1

The amount of times I've seen this 3 year old colt produce a suprise is many! Frpm the wonderful Bondagebabe stable, owner Dawn has primed him well and at 22/1 he has a chance of finishing in the places in the 8:36. Total stats read 83 runs, 15 wins and 32 placed finishes. Third last time out on soft in a full field though soft is not his favoured going it has to be said. Has earned £961 so far and he could cross that £1,000 mark this evening.

Flight Thyme - 9:36 - 7/1

A winner last time out on soft back on the 25th of February in the UK Flight Thyme is well capable of stealing this race from the more fancied contenders. In 22 runs the 2 year old fillie has won in 6 and been placed in 7 highlighting a somewhat erratic trait. However she hasn't been out for a week so she should be able to do some damage even if the distance is longer than shes normally used to.

9/1 Shot Antiquities delivers the goods.

Yes a nice win last night for me when Dallas1's Antiquities recorded a convincing victory at good odds of 9/1. Hopefully the good run can continue tonight. Sunday nights are usually lucky for me for some reason so hopefully tonight will be no exception. Also well done to the Triple Crown Champions Ireland, I can tell you I and most of our island celebrated late into the night in West London! For all tonight's top tips please click on read more..

Sweet Caroline - 8:12 - 13/2

In 4 races so far the 2 year old fillie from the Bigboysteve stable has won twice and been near last twice. The reason for such polarised form may have a lot to do with weight. Tonight Sweet Caroline will be carrying 120 lbs and gives none away to any of the other horses in the field. Won on fast in the USA on the 13th of March over 6 furlongs. Has been busy in March but if she can pull out a strong performance will go close.

St. George's Doofer - 8:48 - 18/1

While firm certainly isn't this 18/1 shots favoured going he is good enough to do well in whats really an average field. The 4 year old colt has run 61 times, winning in 8 and finishing in the places 22 times. The last win for him came back on the 5th of last month in the England where over 2 miles he handled the yielding ground well to take the win. Mid weight tonight at 126 lbs. I'd be suprised if he wins but a placed finish is very possible.

My Portfolio - 9:55 - 8/1

Coming into this race on the back of a fine win in Canada the Mickeez trained 5 year old colt will be one to watch. Vastly experienced My Portfolio is an above average contender who's fought and struggled for his 20 wins and 28 places from 90 runs. He's so far brought in £2,054 in prize money and will be hoping to add to that this evening. Won his last race on firm which is what he will be running on in the last race tonight. That win came on the 22nd of February and a similar performance could reap a similar reward.

Cheltenham may be over but we're here for the long haul!

Yes whether you were a winner or loser at Cheltenham feel safe in the knowledge that Getminted Racing is here for you! Offering long odds on all of our races theres a great chance to save up for those Easter Eggs by picking a few winners at our virtual tracks around the world. Also best of luck to my native Ireland as the boys in green go in search of our second triple crown in three years! For all tonight's top tips please click on read more...

Six Perfections - 8:36 - 7/1

What a topsy turvy time this 2 year old fillie has had of late. Despite some good form in competitive races owners Schlobitten seem intent on offloading Six Perfections. She's won her last five claiming races and has been able to transfer that good form into competitive races as well. Last time out in the same grade race as we face tonight she finished just over a length behind the winner to take third in muddy eight days ago. Should have a decent chance on yielding tonight.

Antiquities - 9:12 - 9/1

A strong field comes together for the 9:12 race in Dubai over 7 furlongs. Amongst them is a 2 year old fillie from the Dallas1 stable who is looking to add to her 4 victories since the 9th of December when she was bought. Antiquities has also picked up 9 placed finishes out of a total of 19 races. Her last race on fast resulted in a 3rd place finish on the 26th of February in the USA. In good form of late the 2 year old will be confident of adding more success to her stats and should do so.

Kubilai Khan - 9:24 - 15/2

The alarm bells rarely ring in the Ken Allan's stable but when Kubilai Khan finished last four days ago in Dubai on muddy serious questions had to be asked. In the interim I'm sure Ken has taken a close look at how to get the best out of this 2 year old colt or was it a deliberate ploy so odds would lengthen for him today!!!! Conspiracy theorists everywhere. In 14 races Kubilai Khan has won twice and been placed in 6. Should be good for another placed finish this evening.

Victory for the Irish on St. Patrick's day

What a finish by War of Attrition in the Cheltenham Gold Cup today. A superb race indeed and for a while it looked like Hedge Hunter was going to add the Gold Cup to his Grand National victory last year. I was content in that I backed Forget the past for a place and he delivered. The tip came from our loyal viewer Chris and so I am very grateful for that. Tonight sees another action packed Getminted on the way with £250 available in the Tri-cast challenge. Don't miss out.

On the eve of St.Patrick's day will you have the luck of the Irish!?

This time tomorrow I intend on being on my 382nd pint! Hopefully be you Irish or not you will join in the 'craic' wherever you are! A few winners on Getminted Racing could pay for a few beers down the local!Just to put a smile on your face I spotted this letter from an Irish mother to her son in New York...have a read...

'Dear Paddy,

Your father has a new job, with 2,000 people under him. He's a gardener at the local cemetery.
Since I last wrote I have had all my teeth out and a new cooker put in.
I was going to send you a turkey but it got better.
I sent you a coat in the post. When the post office weighed it they said I'd have to pay extra for the buttons because they were so heavy. So I cut the buttons off. You'll find them in the top pocket.
We've had a threatening letter from the undertaker. Unless we pay the outstanding money for your grandma's funeral by Wednesday - up she comes.
I must close now. I would have enclosed some money, but I'd already sealed the envelope.
A team of council workers were drilling nearby and accidentally cut through the drains to the house. Since then there's been a terrible smell from your loving mother, Nancy.

Scampi n Marmite - 8:24 - 58/1

Owned by our old friend Lord Jinxy this 2 year old fillie is improving slowly and may suprise all by getting a placed finish at long odds this evening. Bought on the 1st of March she has only been out twice thus far. Had a nightmare start to her career finishing 12th on muddy in Hong Kong. She picked herself up though and finished 6th in her last race over a longer distance in Dubai. Fast going might be the key to her success and at these odds she could be the tip of the night.

Ian Michael - 9:12 - 13/2

In a busy march this vastly experienced campaigner has notched up 4 placed finishes from 5 runs. Total statistics read 167 races, 29 wins and 73 placed finishes. Was especially unlucky not to have made it win number 30 on the 6th of March in Dubai when a late surge for the line by Silver Flamingo relegated the Lady Harkin trained 7 year old to second. Won on fast on the 20th of last month in Canada and should finish in the places tonight with a victory very possible.

Exorcist - 9:48 - 5/1

Fantastic name for a horse, if I was racing against it I'd leave it pass! Won in its very first race on the 2nd of March but since then hasn't been able to add to the total of one win. The best the Exorcist has managed over firm was a 4th place finish in a full field in Austraila. Full of potential, Exorcist could come close tonight.

Keep a four leaf clover under your pillow!

Yes theres a hell of a lot of luck involved in tipping horses, just ask a colleauge of mine who has no interest whatsoever in racing but she has already picked 3 winners at Cheltenham!Sometimes theres merit in Andrew Cheal's tactic of 'sticking a pin in the race card'! Hopefully though studying the form will deliver the right result and thats what Ive done for tonight's 10 high quality races on Getminted Racing where 'muddy' is the flavour of the day. Commited to win - 8:12 - 11/1

A winner yesterday on muddy in Dubai the 2 year old colt is looking to make it win number 4 tonight from 12 races. Granted its a step up in class for the Dallas1 trained colt but he should be up to it. Tipped to be one of the best horses out of the stable for a while watch out for him at a nice price in the 8:12.

Unfuwain (UAE) - 8:36 - 17/2

This 4 year old colt hasn't raced since new years day. The reason for the long extended rest is unclear and only owner Bluess7 will be fully aware of the reasoning behind the move. In 26 runs then he's won in 6 and been placed 17 times. Poor run when last out all those weeks ago but was carrying top weight in that race in the USA. Likes yielding and can come back with a bang tonight.

Vodka Shot - 9:24 - 6/1

Ran well two days ago on muddy in Dubai finishing third and just a length behind the front two horses in a hectic finish. The last win in Bondagebabe colours came back on the 6th of March in the UK over 2 miles. Running in race numer 10 tonight boasting 2 wins and 2 places already. Good enough to win but perhaps a placed finish is on the cards.

Jerky 8 - 8:24 - 14/1

This youngster from the Jaybone stable is looking for it's first win after 10 attempts so far. To date Jerky 8 has been placed in 3 races but looks to be steadily improving. Last time out it finished second on muddy going in Canada. In a full field it was narrowly edged out on the line by Coptic Player. At decent odds it may well be in with a shout of a placed finish in the 8:24 race.

Titanium Boadicea - 9: 36 - 17/2

Formally owned by the Ken Allan's stable this 6 year old fillie was bought by Heinz on the 18th of January last year. In 102 runs to date she has won in 15 and been placed in 33. Two of those wins came in the last five races indicating am improvement in form. Usually runs over 2 miles but trying the shorter distance tonight in the hope of more glory and winnings for the stable.

Decumbiture - 9:55 - 12/1

Looking to make it 3 wins from the last 3 runs tonight as the 3 year old fillie continues to make headway in the busy world of virtual racing. One of those wins came on muddy in Dubai back on the 6th of March. Back on the same track, with same conditions and distance this evening the 3 year old fillie has won 11 times in 53 races and has also finished in the places in 23 runs. Should get something out of the 9:55 at nice odds.

It's here- Cheltenham week!

Thousands of you will be lifting the matress to take out last years winnings from Cheltenham aiming to make even more money this year! Speculation, insider knowledge, trusted tips, they'll all make an appearence this week as many so called experts try to convince you to back the horse of their choice. If you're in the racing mood then why not splash out on Getminted Racing as well. We've ten high quality virtual races nightly on Getminted racing's live televised show as well as many others online during the day. For all tonight's top tips please click on Read more.....You know you want to!

Double U W Double - 8:12 25/1

For newcomers no its not a misprint, this is actually the name of this 3 year old fillie. I know this horse well actually having commentated on many of her great days since she first ran out on a getminted racetrack. After 22 runs, shes won in 6 and been placed in 10 but I think her best days are yet to come. With two wins and three placed finishes in her last five races you can see she's good value at 25/1 even with alittle extra weight. Double U W Double was bought by new owners 'Rich Rockets' just two weeks ago from Masters racing and has already earned her keep. I fancy her to do well tonight and would be delighted with a placed finish.

Perseus (USA) - 8:48 - 4/1

Low odds but would make a decent return with a victory this evening. Indeed were that to happen it would be win number 11 of a fantastic 22 race career as Perseus quickly becomes hot property on Getminted Racing. In excellent form with 9 of those 10 wins coming in the last 14 races the 3 year old colt will be difficult to beat tonight. A great winner on good on the 7th of December in the UK he wont mind the going though its not his favourite. Has been rested since his last race on the 5th of March and if he runs to his best ability will continue his fine form.

Nine Queens - 9:48 - 28/1

Okay so Nine Queens has never run on good going before but please 28/1? Im very suprised by these long odds as Im sure are the owners El Zorro. In 10 races so far the 3 year old fillie has amazing stats with 6 wins and 3 placed finishes. Very versatile her last win came on fast but the win before that was on muddy-point proven! In her only race in Hong Kong before she won on the 30th of January all be it in a small field of 4. Still at these massive odds shes good enough to nick a deserved placed finish.

Sharpen up for Cheltenham on Getminted Racing!

Yes perhaps Getminted Racing can provide you with that extra edge you need ahead of Cheltenham week. With all the statistics on all the horses available you can test your tipping ability and watch your horses run live on television. We must wish the very best of luck to England today ahead of their Six Nation's clash with France in Paris, I want to see them win so Ireland can defeat them next week to pick up the Championship and the Triple Crown! Anyway for all tonight's top Getminted Racing tips click on read more...

Baghdad Nag - 8:24 - 38/1

After 20 runs this 2 year old fillie finally found a win in her last race in Australia. The fireworks went off in the 'War Paint' stable as visions of future victories flooded the minds! Total stats for her read 21 runs, 1 win and 10 placed finishes. When last out on muddy, Baghdad Nag lost out by just over a length to Cosmic Hideaway in the USA coming in second. Indeed shes had good fortune on muddy in the past and at these lofty odds she could get placed.

Lady of Light - 8:36 - 15/2

Solid recent form makes for good reading if you're Lee from Muggins racing. In Lady of Light's last five races the 2 year old fillie picked up two wins and two placed finishes with the only blemish coming on fast going in Dubai when she trailed in well behind the winner. Her total record on Getminted racing reads 12 runs, 2 wins and 5 placed finishes showing she's a great contender when running well. With a good record in Australia she must have a shot at taking the 8:36 with a placed finish possible should she fail to make it win number 3 this evening.

Lothlorien - 9:36 - 48/1

There's a definate mountain to climb in the 9:36 race tonight for Lothlorien but at this price she must be considered. Used to running in C and B division races tonight's racecard boasts alot more quality. However if we look at her stats we see the 3 year old fillie from the Ashland's stable isn't half bad - 14 runs, 6 wins, 6 placed finishes. If she can handle the big names this evening then she could produce a real shock.

Fun and frolics on Getminted Friday!

Aren't fridays a thing of beauty! Even though they come around once a week they still fill you with warm thoughts of drunken nights and lazy mornings as if they'd never come before! And what a way to make that feeling even better than with a win on Getminted racing. No rushing down to the bookies in the rain, looking for those small bookies pencils, and dealing with someone behind the counter who cant quite understand you! Simply bet on line, sit back and watch your horse run on Sky Channel 850! So simple, so perfect! For all tonight's top Getminted Racing tips simply click on Read more...

Johannesburg - 8:12 - 7/1

This 2 year old colt normally runs over fast going with much success. In 14 career runs he's won in 4 and been placed in 5. Amazingly though Johannesburg has never been out on firm before so its questionable if he can handle the going. Johannesburg's last win came on the 28th of February in Dubai. A high quality contender out of the coolmore operation stable he'll be hard to catch if he starts well over this distance. A placed finish probable.

Guilty Act - 8:48 - 9/2

Aiming to enter double figures in terms of wins this 4 year old is a solid consistent performer who is on a hatrick of victories. The last two wins have made it 9 as well as 17 placed finishes in 39 runs. Fast certainly hasn't been Guilty Act's favoured going in the past though he did win on this going in his very first race on the 10th of April last year in the USA. Is it time though for him to make it 10 wins. I think its likely. The more cautious punter though may opt for a placing.

Chance a dance - 9:55 - 7/1

What a great name for a horse!I myself am an Irish set dancing champion did you know! Anyway this entrant from the 'don't known' stable has won in 5 and been placed in 10 of it's 27 races to date. Last race was over this distance and going in the USA when she finished 3rd out of 5 but in truth could have won. Has been rested since the 6th of this month and should run well this evening. A win may be beyond her but a place certainly isn't.

Crazy odds for quality horses!

Don't miss out if you want to make some money tonight folks. The bookies have lost the plot in some of our televised races. For tonights top tips please click on read more.

Zakiyyah - 8:12 - 11/2

This experienced 6 year old colt won yesterday in style sending the virtual crowds in Dubai into a frenzy! While the dallas1 old boy hasn't been out on firm for nearly a month he has the ability to go close this evening. He won on firm in Hong Kong on the 24th of January and if he can relocate that fine form may add to his haul of 32 wins tonight.

Damascena Rose - 8:24 - 50/1

Wow! Amazing odds for this high quality fillie. She likes the firm and will see this as a chance to give two fingers to all critics! Shes won 7 times and been placed in 14 with two of those wins coming in the last 3 races though the last one was in a claimer. Great chance of nicking a placed finish here at these fantastic long odds.

Edge of seat stuff as I wait for my tips to come in and for Liverpool to get past Benfica!

With £300 still available in the Tri-cast challenge you'd be foolish as a Getminted racing owner not to enter tonight's competition on Sky Channel 850. It seems the key to success is to get the winner of the first race (8:36) right, after that races usually go to form. Also tonight of course the mighty Liverpool face Benfica at Anfield 1-0 down from the first leg and with the Reds strikers shooting blanks it'll be hard for Rafa Benitez's men but they can do it. Anyway for all tonight's virtual racing tips please click on read more..

Hermes (GRE) - 8:36 - 15/2

Mr. Consistency here with some solid strong runs in recent times. Overall stats read 36 runs, 7 wins and 11 placed finishes. One of those wins came back on the 23rd of December last year when the 2 year old colt romped home in the UK. In truth Hermes has gone down hill since the early part of his career but is good enough to challenege tonight at these attracive odds. A placed finish a strong possibility.

Artica - 8:48 - 8/1

Obviously there isn't alot of experience in this Maiden stakes race for Juvenile Fillies but of that there is I think Artica looks like a handy girl. Second in her last race on fast in the USA owners Asturteam must have thought that was his 2 year old fillie's first win. Used to the distance and trained well this 8/1 shot has the ability to do well here and I wouldn't rule out a win.

Warcraft - 9:48 - 20/1

I was more than a little suprised to see the odds for this 7 year old colt for tonight's penultimate TV race. In 133 races Warcraft has claimed victory in 22 races and been placed in 53. The last of those wins came on the 1st of March on muddy going in the USA. Recent form has been strong and even with a weight handicap I think this old boy can still put a smile on Lister's face. At 20/1 a win may be unlikely but don't rule out a great run and perhaps a placed finish.

Nevermind Chelsea! the real winners are on Getminted Racing!

Before you even consider it, Chelsea's game against Barcelona wont't be worth watching! Barca complete with Ronaldinho, Messi, Deco and E'tto will bring more tears to Mr Mourinho's face! So instead tune into Getminted and perhaps make a few pounds for Easter Eggs of if you're Irish St. Patricks day! For all tonight's tips please click on Read more....

Courgette (Fra) - 8:57 - 13/1

In good form this French horse with a rather bizaare name has a chance of getting something in this race. Owned by PRO EV Racing who now stand on a total of 45 wins they are hoping the 2 year old fillie will push them closer to the magical 50 wins mark. In 15 races this girl has won in 5 and been placed in 7. She was unlucky not to win in her only race to date on fast when she finished 2nd on the 23rd of last month in the USA. Very versatile in terms of distances keep an eye out for this one in the 8:57

Demon Destroyer - 9:24 - 44/1

Any Dallas1 horse at long odds is worth having a look at and Demon Destroyer is no exception. Though he hasn't had a win since the 3rd of January he can suprise when running well. Normally avoids yielding but at 44/1 must be fancied as a placed finish candidate. In 40 races the 3 year old colt has won 7 times and been placed in 14. Hoping to get his virtual career back on track.

Sallwalysugarlump - 9:36 - 56/1

I know, I know the bookies often get it wrong but surely backing a horse at 56/1 is just lunacy! Well not so if you look at the stats. In 34 runs this 3 year old fillie with a killer name for commentators has won 6 times and been placed in 14. Strong recent form though the owners 'don't known' stable have entered her in claimers in recent weeks. Last win was on Valentines day, will the love be back in the air tonight? This once may be worth a small flutter for an each way finish.

Monday night madness or monday night sadness?!

It'll be all smiles this evening on Getminted racing as monday's generally throw up a few suprises! And what a selection of fields we've got planned for you tonight. Don't forget we've got the tri-cast challenge to look forward to when up to £300 in credits can be won not to mention the Lucky Text tip where by texting us who you think will win the 9:24 race you could win £25 for your stable! For all of tonight's top tips for the Greatest show on Earth simply click on 'Read More'...

Superb star - 8:12 - 17/2

Nice odds here for a 2 year old colt who has a lot of skill and stamina but just needs to pick up another win or two to really steal the headlines. Even the bookies forget about him at times but I think he could go close at 17/2. In his 13 runs to date 'Superb Star' has entered the winner's enclosure on 4 occassions and he's been placed in 5. While he hasn't raced over yielding for some time now he has shown good form on the similar soft going so tonight shouldn't be too much of a problem. Owned by the Top Star stable his last win was on the 18th of February in Dubai over muddy. While a win tonight would be brilliant I think a placed finish is surely more likley.

ComeonCeri - 9:12 - 8/1

Named after our popular Welsh presenter Ceri Barnett this 2 year old fillie has started off in fine form. I'm sure Ceri keeps an eye out for this one and it has the backing of all the people of Wales! In her 4 runs to date, ComeonCeri has won twice and been placed once so she's already a force to be reckoned with. Hasn't been out since the 27th of February so will be well rested and wile ComeonCeri has yet to try her hand over soft she did well over yielding in her last race.

Divina - 9:36 - 15/2

Fair enough recent form has been poor but the Asturteam contender was carrying a massive 140 lbs in both races. In 165 runs this experienced horse has won 50 times and been placed in 56. Last run of races in March have certainly left a lot to be desired but you cant keep a horse of this obvious quality down for long and I fancy Divina to come back with a bang at these decent odds.

'A little helping hand' - The newbies training guide

If you are a keen horse racing fan then training winners on Getminted Racing won't be too much of a problem for you . However to help you along the way, one of our top owners Dallas1 has put together a 'newbies training guide' so you can have a Championship winner and strong stable before long. It's easy to find and even easier to use.

The practical reason for the Newbies guide is to help prevent common mistakes made by new owners. It can be found by clicking on the 'help' section on the left hand side of the Getminted Racing home page. Once you have clicked on the guide it will ask if you want to download the file to which you answer yes or 'proceed'.

Dallas1 joined us as an owner on the 29th of January last year. He quickly got to grips with the way the game worked and found out some vital tips from other owners along the way. Thanks to shrewd and careful attention to detail Dallas1 has now notched up over 1,550 winners and has won over £73,000.

He will tell you where and how to buy your horse, how to prepare it for that big race, which race to enter it into, when and if to sell horses who dont cut the mustard etc. Whatever you need to know will be in Dallas 1's newbies guide.

New owners who have used the newbies document have already declared it to be a solid and helpful guide. If you want to see your horses sprinting past that winning line and earning the corresponding prize money then hurry to the site and get learning!

Need a slice of luck on Sunday?

Well our newest Presenter Ashley may have had luck on the real ggs yesterday but can you do the same on the virtual money spinners this evening? Tips from this site are on a roll with another win by Flash Kancha on Friday night at 9/2. Hopefully that trend can continue tonight. To find out if they do tune into Sky Channel 850 for the best of Getminted Racing. For all tonight's tips please click on Read More....

Crabby Cat - 8:24 - 10/1

The term 'always the bridesmaid never the bride' springs to mind when you look at the stats for this 2 year old colt from the Foxy 911 stable. In 6 runs he's finished in second on three occassions. Normally sent out over the soft, muddy and yielding going and this will be Crabby Cat's first ever outing on Fast. The sole win of the 6 run history came in Hong Kong on the 20th of February over yielding. Last time out on Friday he finished 2nd out of 9 losing by just over a length to Frog Street. May not be a huge lover of fast going but worth the experiment and at these odds very good value.

Turn me loose - 8:48 - 40/1

Can you believe the odds being offered for Island house's experienced old girl. It'll be very interesting to see how she runs. Remember for one reason or another the 5 year old fillie hasn't raced since the 8th of February when she won in Dubai. Granted it'll be a step up in class for her tonight. Usually we would find Turn me Loose in the C and D category fields but this will be an A and B and therefore bring together a stronger set of horses. Still with 7 wins and 16 placed finishes from 25 runs she's good enough to challenge for the honours in the 8:48.

Citizenship - 9:24 - 11/1

The bookies may have come up with their odds for Citizenship after her last race when she finished 10th on Friday in Australia. A daring move by Lee of Muggin's racing pitched the 3 year old fillie in a race with a distance short of her best.Tonight though she will be aiming to pick up win number 10. Her nine wins coupled with a total of 24 places shows that this Grey fillie means business and will go close tonight. A win is possible but to be safe I'm predicting a placed finish here.

Time to make some real money- Getminted Racing - Sky Channel 850

It's the start of the weekend but the fun doesn't stop on Getminted Racing. Owners usually like to get their horses running on TV on a Friday night as it allows them to sit back relax and watch their horses win! When he/she does the hangover on Saturday is well worth it! For all tonight's top tips please click on Read More....

99 Red Balloons - 8:24 - 13/2

This two year old colt has only been out twice before. Despite winning his very first race he was entered straight into a claimer for his second outing! I wonder if there were words between Owner (Neal!) and horse! Anyway it may be a minor step up in quality for 99 Red Balloons tonight but he's good enough to go close.

Tipperary - 8:48 - 6/1

It's a long way to Tipperary but success isn't that far away for this 6 year old experienced colt. He last won on the 8th of February in Canada, that being his 11th win in 55 runs. Add to that 17 placed finishes and you can see this horse has great ability. Will like the competition tonight and may get up there to win on the line.

Flash Kancha - 9/2

From the Ken Allan's stable so alot expected of him tonight but recent form has been poor. When running well Flash Kancha is hard to beat. Stats read 44 runs, 9 wins and 16 placed finishes. It may be a lot to ask for this horse to enter the double figures in terms of victories but Flash Kancha will give it a good shot as always.

'Tease Me' romps home at 13/2

The correct tipping trend is on the up with 'Tease Me' from the Lister stable blasting to victory last night. After coming so close the night before it was a relief to see Tease Me at 13/2 picking up yet another win for the stable. Tonight we have some excellent fields ready to do battle and one or two suprising prices. For all tonights tips click on Read More...

Silent Witness - 8:24 - 46/1
Hawaiian Sound - 8:24 - 70/1

Silent Witness wins an average of 1 in 4 races and is well capable of shocking the socks off the bookies in tonight's 8:24 race. The 4 year old colt won last time out on firm going in the UK and has boasted a strong consistent run of form of late. His last win on muddy was in Dubai on the 30th of December and he'll be hoping for at least a placed finish tonight. Another fine horse with similar aspirations will be Hawaiian Sound from Diablo Racing at the massive price of 70/1. Could he win or finish in the places? stranger things have happened!

Gilgalad - 8:48 - 15/2

A winner yesterday in the USA on muddy going Gilgalad will be looking forward to another trip over similar going. Consistent and reliable the vastly experienced 7 year old star from the poki nelson stable has picked up 44 wins and 58 placed finishes in a highly succesful career on Getminted Racing. A victory is a strong possibility tonight. Will it be a case of the old dog for the long road?

You named me WHAT - 8/1 - 9:36

This new kid on the block has never been out on muddy going before. In her 3 runs to date the 2 year old fillie has claimed one win and two placed finishes and has taken the eye of many a shrewd punter.Bought on the 6th of February by the 'don't known' stable she has the ability to go close tonight and may even snatch the race all going well.

Two of last night's tips pipped on the line!

I had my notes written as 'Tart' sauntered to the line in the lead in the 8:36 race last night only for 'Astrometeorology' to steal the show on the line. Still a second place finish at 15/2 wasn't too bad and I was very confident that MG ZR would go one better in the 9:12. However as luck would have it 'My Portfolio' just has that greater finishing kick as MG ZR had to settle for a second place finish at 4/1. For all tonight's top tips, please click on 'Read More'...

Crewes Control - 8:24 - 24/1

I was suprised when I saw the odds for this 4 year old colt as he's been in a rich vein of form recently. With 3 wins in his last 5 races theres no doubting that this entrant from the Coppenhall stable has a good and exciting future ahead of him despite a below average start. Overall statistics read 24 runs, 6 wins and 5 placed finishes. He rarely runs on good and on the 4 occassions he has he hasn't fared well. That was the 'Crewes Control' of yester year though, today the same horse is tipped to make the bookies eat their odds and nick a placed finish.

Balmerino - 9:24 - 17/2

A brave tip here which will either blow up in my face or make me a hero in the Redhalo racing household! What interests me with this 2 year old is that despite being bought on the 8th of September last year this is the newcomer's first race on Getminted. That would lead me to believe that the owners were very careful choosing the right race to enter him in.He may not win but at 17/2 he's worth considering for a place.

Tease me - 9:36 - 13/2

What a month this horse has had. After a lacklustre start Tease Me is starting to make waves and could have a chance of victory tonight. With only 3 wins and 10 placed finishes in the last 31 races its about time it came good for the owners. In its last 5 races it's done just that with two wins and a placed finish.
